Air Quality Test

Air Quility Test:

How it Works: At Phoenix Shield, our air quality and swab testing services are completed with the help of our Zefon vacuum pump. Our process consists of a visual assessment, humidity readings, and collection of air and surface samples for mold and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The samples collected during this time are then sent to Pro-Lab in Florida for analysis. Once we receive the results, we will review them with you and make a game plan for the next steps to take if need be.

Physical Signs of Poor Air Quality: Nasal irritation, scratchy throat, headaches, nausea, fatigue and more.

Causes of Poor Air Quality: Poor ventilation is a common cause of indoor air quality issues that can increase energy bills and affect health. Other pollutants such as pet dander, dust, asbestos, mold, lead, pesticides, and secondhand smoke also negatively affect air quality.

Benefits of Testing: Indoor air quality testing helps identify the cause of symptoms and potential health hazards such as respiratory diseases, heart problems, and cancer. Testing can also identify unusual odors, condensation, and musty smells that may indicate ventilation issues, environmental problems, or materials known to emit harmful VOCs.
